This is one of those projects that has been taking much longer than I expected. I think it is all the stockinette stitches, which tend to bore me. Or maybe I shouldn’t be blaming the poor stockinette and just confess that I have the attention span of a door knob these days. It is going to be something for Laloo like she is calling herself these days. She might be 2 and a half but boy does she have enough attitude to fill up 2 s ix year olds. This is my first knitted garment and I am working on it only when she’s asleep or at preschool because she usually loves to try on the stuff I make for her while I am still working on them. I am loving how it is turning out but I am kind of worried it will be on the short size so I am thinking of working a few extra rows at the end. I love the color. It is a deep rich red which I usually wouldn’t have gone for but I took my husband with me to pick out the colors. It is soft and lovely to work with too, I used this yarn before but to crochet with and loved it. It is a little harder to knit with because I keep feeling that it will just slide off my needles and since I suck at picking up dropped stitches I am terrified of that fact. I should have some left after I am done so I am hoping to make leg warmers or a hat. Here’s to hoping that it will turn out as cute as I am already imagining it.
masha2allah, I really love the color 🙂
ISA it will look great on laloo 🙂
My cousin’s son is calling himself doody these days and forced everyone around to call him with it. He is 2.5 yrs old too 🙂
Heheheh as long as he doesn’t decide to call himself Dongol I think everything will be ok.
