I wasn’t really shopping for fabric when I spotted this pretty rainbow cotton and a matching blue linen right next to it. Really, I wasn’t. But then it kept whispering “buy me, buy me” so I felt sad for it and got it.
And I made a little bag because I recently reorganized and got rid of a lot of my bags so I needed a new bag. Really, I did.
I love the linen on the outside and rainbow on the inside.
My daughter keeps climbing onto my back and keeps telling me that she’ll color my hair into a rainbow, of course a rainbow to her is pink, pink, pink and yellow.
This is Prudent Baby’s Beginner’s Bias Tape Bag.
I have a confession. I love bias tape. I have different sized bias tape makers (the regular ones not the machine) but I still love doing it completely by hand, it is one of those things that make me relax and just zone off.
I think I might need to make another one, only larger this time.
Oh how beautiful ma sha Allah!!! Wish I could sew something like that! 🙂
Just buy pretty fabric, it manages to hide all the flaws 🙂
I know, fabric and yarn keep yelling at me all the time, I am so upset by the excruciating cries that I rescue them all.
Lovely bag, by the way and I like what you wrote about your daughter.
I am so happy I am not the only one who gets yelled at by craft supplies 🙂
It does indeed look pretty scrumptious. I made one of the bias tape bags for my SIL for christmas… I’d never used bias tape before, and I found the curved bits a little bit of a challenge. It all came out looking pretty sweet though. 🙂
I love bias tape, once you figure out how it is done, it becomes so easy and useful
