This is my first washcloth ever. I’ve never crocheted one.
It was easy and simple.
And guess what?
I forced myself to knit continental. 😀

Looks fantastic!
Thank you. It has some wonky stitching but you can’t tell unless you hold it up close but I think for my first try it is quite good
I was looking for a dishcloth pattern – so I’ve downloaded this one! Thank you! And then I just had to go and have a look at your etsy store and have just bought the Marina Bag pattern – I’m just getting into crochet, so I’m looking forward to trying it out.
You’re welcome.
Happy crocheting the bag, if you need any help or clarification let me know
I love these knitted cloths..so much nicer to use!
I am not really sure what to use it for though, this one is acrylic so it’s definitely not going anywhere near my face but I think it could be really useful round the kitchen
WOW! way to go Jess!Looks very nice!
Thanx Pearlin, where’s the Knitting/Crochet group you said you wanted to start?
It looks fabulous. Continental is great for hooky types I think.
I had tried before but failed to get a hang of it, I think after I had done a bit of English knitting and understood where the needles and yarn should go I could switch
You’ll never turn back once you start using handmade dishcloths – it looks lovely, almost too good to get dirty!
I am digging the look of it so I think it will make the kitchen a cheerier place.
very attractive dishcloth. too nice to wash dishes with. could it be worn somehow
I guess you could keep working the pattern until you get a scarf 🙂
