I’ve been blogging at Chocolate Mints in a Jar since August 2006.  Just like my life has changed so has my blogging and I think it is now time to separate my interests.  I wanted a space to indulge in my own creative fantasies and interests.  I don’t want to alienate my readers so I decided to split my blog into two separate ones.  The C stands for crafts in general, although at the moment it could stand for crochet, but who knows what might come up in the future.  I’ve always enjoyed making stuff.  Throughout my childhood I was fascinated with things like origami, macramé, cartooning, photography and lots of other stuff too.

I had learned to crochet when I was in school but it never really took off until last year when I decided I wanted to make amigurumi characters and bags.  I went out, bought a bunch of hooks and lots of bad yarn and started out.  I am glad I did.  I had no idea what I was doing but that rarely matters to me, I always know that eventually I will get there.

Just like this blog, I don’t have a definite idea of how I am going to go about doing it, but I am sure that it will turn out great, it is a WIP (work in progress) just like everything else in life.
