My Creative Space: Stuff

My creative space was pretty sporadic this week.  I am completely obsessed with yarn winding.  I sometimes rewind just for fun, it is so relaxing.  I made a super fast (an hour and a half) bolero for my 2 and a half year old for Eid.  I was sitting at 7 am and realized I had blue yarn that matched her dress perfectly so I made a little bolero.  It is just a basic rectangle with the corners sewn together.  I am also working on a convertible wrap using the same stitch as the one in the bolero but it has been taking forever.  The phone case was requested by a teacher at my daughter’s nursery and I’ve made it a couple of times with different yarns and colors and have finally settled on this lovely Catania blue cotton.

I found these oh so super cute kawaii chick bookmarks by Jinjerup.  They are so cute I could overdose on cuteness.  She also has another couple of really super cute bookmarks but these were my favorites.  The book is “Think before it is too late” by Edward De Bono in case you were wondering, one of my personal favorite authors and thinkers.  I’ve read some of his other books like the Six thinking hats, Simplicity, Lateral Thinking so when I found this one I grabbed it without thinking.

Has your creative space been better than mine lately?

Thank you Pearling. It is the same stitch actually, very easy and looks cute. I am loving the bookmarks too, I am actually reading more as an excuse to use them 😀

I love the bolero 🙂 you reminded me of my aunts. They do the last minute eid crocheting/ knitting with their children and always end up with some awesome, original eid outfits.

I should plan for next Eid, but I always get carried away and will probably do some mad dash crocheting in the very end. Have I convinced you yet to start some crafting?
