I have a case of startitis.

I can't help it.

I cast on another hat instead of finishing the one already on the needles.

In my defense my sister asked for a rainbow hat. I just love knitting rainbows. It is my kryptonite. Throw in stripes and I am a goner. I love the color changes. I love how it is fun without being hard work. I love how simple it is. I love how mindless it is but still produces something visually pleasing.

So even though I already have six ongoing projects I am happy with them all. I feel no need or pressure to finish them. Just the enjoyment that comes from knitting or crocheting them. After all, isn't enjoying the process what crafting is all about?
